Once you have successfully connected to FTP, you should upload your website to the public_html for Cpanel Control Panel and httpsdoc Plesk Control Panel folders on the server. Anything you place within this folder will be visible on your domain name.
You should call your homepage index, such as index.html or index.php, as this will be loaded as the default page.
